How to Prepare for ClearV® Treatment

Two to Four Weeks Before Treatment

• Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from direct sunlight to reduce sensitivity and irritation.
• Discontinue Certain Medications: Let our staff know about any medications you are taking, particularly those that increase photosensitivity.

One Week Before Treatment

• Stop Using Retinoids: Cease the use of retinoid products to minimize skin sensitivity.
• Avoid Blood Thinners: If possible, avoid aspirin and other blood-thinning medications or supplements.

Day of Treatment

• Clean Skin: Come to your appointment with the treatment area clean and free of lotions, creams and makeup.
• Wear Comfortable Clothing: Opt for clothing that’s comfortable for you and that easily exposes the area being treated.

What to Expect During Your ClearV® Procedure

Here’s what you can expect at your ClearV appointment:

1. Preparation: We will cleanse the treatment area and provide you with protective eyewear.
2. Treatment: Using the ClearV handpiece, your aesthetician will deliver precise laser pulses to the target vessels. You may feel a slight snapping sensation, but the integrated cooling system helps minimize discomfort.
