• Avoid Direct Sun Exposure: Use sunscreen and protective clothing to shield your treatment areas from direct sunlight, as sun exposure can increase skin sensitivity and irritation.
• Stop Taking Certain Medications: Consult with Dr. Terrasse about medications you are taking to determine which ones may need to be paused, such as those that increase your skin’s sensitivity to light.

One Week Before Treatment

• Don’t Use Retinoids: Discontinue using products containing retinol to reduce skin sensitivity.
• Avoid Blood Thinners: If possible, avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin and supplements like ginger, vitamin E and fish oil.

Day of Treatment
