Four to Six Weeks Before Treatment

• Stop Waxing and Plucking: Refrain from waxing or plucking your hairs in the treatment area, as the laser targets hair follicles that are intact.
• Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from direct sunlight to prevent sensitivity and irritation.

One Week Before Treatment

• Stop Taking Blood Thinners: If possible, avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin and supplements such as fish oil and vitamin E. However, you should always consult with your healthcare provider before stopping any medication to ensure it is safe to do so.

24 Hours Before Treatment

• Shave the Treatment Area: Shave the area to be treated up to 24 hours before your appointment, which leaves the hair follicle intact beneath the skin.

Day of Treatment

• Clean Skin: Ensure the treatment area is clean and free of lotions, creams and makeup.
• Wear Comfortable Clothing: Choose clothing that easily exposes the area being treated.

What to Expect During Your BARE HR™ Procedure

How Many BARE Laser Hair Removal Sessions Will I Need?

The number of BARE HR sessions you will need depends on various factors, including your hair type, your hair color and the area being treated. On average, the majority of patients require six to eight sessions spaced about four to six weeks apart to achieve optimal results.
