Body Image & Self Esteem

For many potential cosmetic surgery and medispa patients, looking at their reflections is like peeking in an amusement park mirror — what’s portrayed on the outside is not what’s felt on the inside. I really understand when there is a mismatch or lack of harmony between the psyche and the physical characteristics. There can be tremendous psychological ramifications that arise from angst over one’s appearance and presentation before others. Being able to correct problem areas and give patients one less thing to worry about is very rewarding.

I understand the effect of body image on self-esteem, and I treat it seriously by designing patient refinements with the whole individual in mind.
